Ceiren graduated as a mature student from the Media and Communications BA at Goldsmiths in 2005, with the highest First in the Department and a distinction in Animation.

Since then she has been working as a freelance animator (with clients including the BBC, Central and North West London NHS, CTVC and Factory Films) and is Associate Lecturer in Animation and Media Theory at Goldsmiths. She also facilitates creative workshops for schools and community groups throughout the south east and lectures in Media at Croydon College.

Since graduating from the Artybird Artist in Residence course in 2008, and in addition to her University lecturing, Ceiren has taught a number of modules to a broad range of participants, including digital art, Photoshop, illustration, comic book construction, papier mache, puppet making and general craft skills, as well as her mainstays of stop motion and digital animation.

Ceiren also works with writer and Occupational Therapist Steve Wybourn, creating and facilitating workshops designed to develop creative potential and self expression for a variety of clients.
